An Open Letter to All Muslims

During the week of September 11, 2012, American Embassies in northern Africa and the Middle East were attacked and invaded after protesters watched clips of a video titled “Innocence of Muslims.” The film was allegedly made by a small group of Coptic Christians with the intent to “anger Muslims.”

An Egyptian business associate, Ahmed El Fiky, wrote the following, “I feel it is my duty to apologize and to tell you what happened exactly.” He continued by saying: there are extremists in every faith, some Muslim extremists support Al-Qeada, however the Qur’an states there is no excuse for killing innocent civilians, “thus killing the innocent ambassador in Libya cannot be justified by Islam.”

He continued, “around 2000 or 3000 [demonstrators] went to the embassy to protest [o]n the anniversary of 9/11 which will make [Americans] think that they are celebrating 9/11. Some of them… [support]… Al Qaeda and they chanted supporting OBL, which shows how ignorant they are… Most of us are condemning what is happening at the embassy and condemning as well the murder of the innocent ambassador in Libya. Most of us are against Al Qaeda and we believe they are a bad image for Islam… I don’t have any hatred in my heart to Americans and I hope they don’t hate me… I apologize to you… Let’s love, let’s fight hatred everywhere. This was the message of my prophet whom these idiots at the embassy are claiming to follow.”

I commend Ahmed for posting this information along with his insights into the Muslim faith, and would like to send a friendly message to Ahmed and all Muslims.

I do not support the foreign policy of the government of the United States of America. I do not condone the actions of the men and women in the American military, when those men and women kill and maim men, women and children in your country. There are over 300 million Americans, less than 1% are in the military and an even smaller percentage are involved in making foreign policy. I do not consent to their actions and feel for the families of the millions of men, women and children killed over the years by the American military. Clearly the actions of the American government, and by extension the American military, do not represent the views of all Americans.

I look forward to the day when a country supposedly acting on my behalf no longer has a presence in your country and no longer kills your family, friends and neighbors. Please do not confuse the actions of a small group of people as being representative of my views.

I don’t know who did what to whom. I am sure, like 9-11 The truth will come out eventually. Under any circumstance, like Pearl Harbor and the Gulf of Tonkin, it is a wonderful way to get an reluctant American nation into war with Iran. Remember Cheney used 9-11 as a ploy to bomb Iraq and steal their oil. Aside – why hasn’t Cheney been prosecuted as a war criminal for Iraq alone and the war profiteering by Hallibuton ? How many American died in Iraq?

  2. Fred Wilson says:

Our country has gone wildly astray. We have become a war crazed nation, wanting to dominate and control all parts of the world. Our Congress is a bastion of warmongers and Israel Firsters, who betray our nation by doing what the Iarael Lobby dictates to our congresspeople.

We support any government, no matter how oppressive it is, as long as they go along with our policies of domination. These nations include both Saudi Arabia and Israel. The former oppresses all it’s people and the latter oppresses it’s non Jewish population, and practices a severe form of apartheid against non Jews, which includes house demolitions, land confiscations and water deprivation, all based on religeous identity. if you are not aware of this, take a look at http://www.mondoweiss.net which tells what’s going on in Israel/Palestine, that our mainstream media keeps hidden. We have a subserviant press, which helped push is into war with Iraq, and they are now doing a similar thing with Iran, by not reporting the whole picture.

  3. Our big brother act is too expensive, selective and it makes us hated by the populations we are trying to ” Democratize”. The cowardly acts of dragging American officials and other citizens through the streets like so much trash and desecrated our FLAG makes me want revenge. The Jihad is just an excuse to kill innocent people in the name of Allah. No video or paredy of any kind should trigger such a response. I know it was an Aniversary gift too. I don’t think back stabbing Jihadist that hide behind their beloved women and children in a firefight want to face our special forces in their sleep. I would have them hunting down each person that can be identified by photo or security cam, all those cheering or in any way aiding in these murders to be DISPATCED without mercy! Our milksoip Congress won’t allow us to unleash the fear of American might on your worthless hides.

The day after 911 our community gathered in our little community college auditorium and heard some college officials and teachers tell us that “the plan was to bomb and thereby destroy Afghanistan first then Iraq then Syria and then Iran”.
    So help me. True story.
So help us all. It all came true. And the foreboding I had on that day after hearing that sentence….is indescribable
When I contacted the college office a few years ago just to challenge them and remind them of that message so outrageously announced a few years before…. like it was a move on an international chessboard….the office secretary said she had been there too and it was all fine with her…..after all we were just being “protected” ……I heard her silence say.

This was in upstate New York. Could have been anywhere though or any venue. We’re supposed to know it was a “plan” and then forget we knew it.
